So
THE PEN PAL PROJECT
was born!
When I asked if anyone wanted to be my pen pal, I genuinely couldn’t believe how many people were keen to lean back into a slower way of communicating. I literally wouldn’t have been able to write to every single person who was interested and so I decided to match people up with each other instead.
What a joy it is to have something lovely land on your doorstep and to not even know when it is coming. In this fast paced world where everyone seems to thrive on immediate gratification and we are so AVAILABLE all of the time in this technology heavy world - I wanted a way to connect, really connect, with someone by learning more about who they are behind the screen…
I don’t ever want this to be a profitable part of my business - I’m simply doing it for the sheer joy of it.
There will be the opportunity to offer a small donation to cover my time for organising but this is optional and I don’t ever want money to be a barrier for anyone finding a wee pen pal to write to.
